Tamiya Nissan Skyline GT-R (R32)

  • Plasti-Kote clear


  • Charcoal grey flocking applied to interior floor and rear shelf

  • Mesh used in front bumper duct instead of the original plastic grill

Tamiya Box. Kit No.90

Pieces provided inside box

First thing I completed was the engine where it was painted as instructed

The body and undercarriage were then sprayed with PlastiKote white primer

And here's the finished undercarriage, painted as instructed in the manual

Interior was next. The floor and parcel shelf were covered in charcoal grey flocking

Finished interior. Once again, colours used are as instructed in the assembly manual

Interior was then mounted onto the finished undercarriage and engine bay

The body was next and this was sprayed in Tamiya TS-38 Gun Metal Grey

Decals were then applied and the body sprayed with PlastiKote clear

Clear-coat was then wet sanded, polished and waxed. Picture below shows the shine obtained

Windows were masked as instructed and then painted in semi-gloss black

All that remained, was to fully assemble everything! Here's the all finished Skyline GT-R
